Cloud Productivity Consultants - Office 365

The candidate will be expected to deliver high quality technical architecture and designs to enable a customer to transition to Microsoft Cloud-based solutions, maintaining efficiency and quality assured implementations of migration and solution deployments. You must contribute to best practice technical processes and raise Minttulip’s technical excellence profile, through the likes of blogs, wiki’s, whitepapers and public events.

The candidate will support the client engagement process whilst demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of cloud services and will, with the support of the Minttulip business, maintain a current, high level of technical knowledge in line with corporate strategy.

These roles also require that the candidate provides peer review for corporate and customer collateral, and must work to maintain effective communications within the organisation.

As a Consultant, you will be capable of taking a highly involved role throughout the lifecycle of a delivery project, working directly with the client and a team of consultants to facilitate and drive their vision through programme enablement, execution and evolution. The role will encompass tasks such as designing and delivering revenue generating solutions across a range of clients.

At a senior level, with your focus on these technologies, you will undertake Cloud Readiness Assessments and perform detailed analysis of a client's existing infrastructure and requirements. You will then create a detailed plan with fully scoped technical specifications, before managing the implementation of the appropriate solutions at the client's premises.

The candidate will be UK based but prepared to travel extensively.

The ideal Minttulip Microsoft Cloud Productivity Consultant must have:

  • 6 months+ consultancy experience
  • Proven successful involvement in business change programmes, contributing to or leading appropriate workstreams
  • Proficient level of knowledge including technical planning, design, delivery and migration across the specified areas for each role (see below)
  • Microsoft certification: MCP is ideal, and any other relevant qualifications in respective technology areas
  • Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Degree level education or equivalent desirable.

In addition to these core requirements, a senior level consultant must have:

  • 5+ years consultancy experience
  • Demonstrable team lead and/or people management experience, illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communication
  • Proven successful delivery of large/complex end to end programmes whilst acting as technical lead
  • Senior level knowledge including business impact, justification and transformation and technical planning, design, delivery and migration across specified areas for each role (see below)
  • Microsoft certification: MCSE, MCTS and MCITP in respective technology areas
  • A comprehensive understanding of programme lifecycle including engagement, timeline, budget, delivery cycle

Messaging and IM

  • Microsoft Cloud architecture including Windows/SQL Azure, BPOS and Office365
  • Windows Server Platform
  • Directory Services
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 – 2010 (Inc. Unified Messaging)
  • Microsoft Lync Server and previous versions (LCS/OCS) - Enterprise Voice experience advantageous
  • Supporting Microsoft infrastructure and technologies
  • Wider impact of cloud transformations (Desktop Estate Transformation, Identity Management, Security and Compliance)
  • Knowledge of Server Virtualization including VMWare and Hyper-V

Unified Communications

  • Microsoft Cloud architecture including Windows/SQL Azure, BPOS and Office365
  • Windows Server Platform
  • Directory Services
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 – 2010 (Inc. Unified Messaging)
  • Microsoft Lync Server and previous versions (LCS/OCS) - Enterprise Voice experience advantageous
  • Supporting Microsoft infrastructure and technologies
  • Wider impact of cloud transformations (Desktop Estate Transformation, Identity Management, Security and Compliance)
  • Knowledge of Server Virtualization including VMWare and Hyper-V
  • PSTN/PBX/IP-PBX integration with Microsoft Online Services
  • Enterprise Voice deployment
  • UC integration and deployment utilising Exchange Online and Lync Online
  • Hosted voicemail using Lync Server (on-premise) and Exchange Online
  • Understanding of wider Enterprise Voice platforms and integration with Microsoft infrastructure including but not limited to: Cisco, Avaya

SharePoint

  • Microsoft SharePoint Online (BPOS/Office 365)
  • Microsoft SharePoint Server solutions – WSS 3.0, MOSS 2003/2007/2010, SharePoint Designer
  • Competitive products such as Lotus Notes, Amazon Web Services etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel SharePoint Services
  • End-to-end solutions encompassing Publishing, Social, MySites, Managed Metadata and Collaboration features of SharePoint 2010 and Intranet Portals
  • Experience of SharePoint 2010 components – Insights, Sites, Communities and Content
